Terms

Our formal terms of service are being prepared with legal counsel before public launch. What follows is a plain-language description of the arrangement, not a contract.

What the service does

ReadyRegistry records what you tell it about your safety equipment and your team's certifications, and reminds you before those things expire. It is a record-keeping and reminder tool.

What it is not

It is not a substitute for your legal obligations, for professional inspection by a qualified technician, or for emergency services. It is not connected to 9-1-1 dispatch. Compliance with fire codes, occupational health and safety regulations, and any other law remains yours. If a reminder does not arrive, the underlying obligation still exists.

Accuracy of records

The reminders are only as good as what is entered. If an expiry date is typed incorrectly, the reminder will be wrong. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you and your team record.

Cost and the referral model

The service is free to use. We earn referral fees when you choose to purchase replacements or courses through a supplier we suggest. Those suggestions are never a requirement, and declining them changes nothing about the service you receive.

Suppliers are third parties

We do not manufacture, sell, service or warrant any equipment. A supplier shown in a reminder is an independent business; your purchase is with them, and their terms apply.

Your data and closing the account

Your records remain yours. You can export everything at any time, and close your organization from within the app. Closing stops reminders immediately and permanently deletes the data after 30 days.

Acceptable use

Use it for tracking your own organization's equipment and certifications. Do not attempt to access another organization's data, and do not use the service to store information you have no right to hold.
